Mahatma Gandhi started the Dundee March from Sabarmati Ashram near Ahmadabad to break the Salt Law. This march was spread across 375 km. Covered with 78 followers in 26 days. The whole of India joined the boycott of foreign goods and refused to pay taxes. Khan Abdul Shaffer Khan or Shim ant Gandhi started the Hyundai Kidmatgarh movement on the North-West Frontier. The government reverted to its brutal force and within a year nearly 90,000 people were imprisoned. In Peshawar, the Garhwal Regiment refused to shoot a protester. In Nagaland, the 13-year-old queen, Gaidilita, raised the flag against the British and was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1932. A day will come when India remembers and cherishes Nehru. He was released after independence.
